Great Uncle Percy is a late relative of Eddie's. He served in the First World War. In "Hole" Eddie recalls his Great Uncle Percy, and informs Richie of what he used to exclaim in the face of danger: "Aah, bloody hell! Germans! Thousands of them! AAH!"
