Dropping the scoop on Sad Ken.
Tight-Mouthed Larry is the local bookie, and is portrayed by comedian Chris Langham. In "Parade," Larry fails to live up to his namesake by drunkenly giving away the scoop on Sad Ken , the favourite to win the 3.30 at Chepstow, to the patrons of the Lamb & Flag. His bumbling leads to a mass exodus to Harry the Bastard's Pawn Shop, and on to the bookies where hundreds of bets are placed on the legendary horse. Sad Ken, however, is not the wonder horse he made it out to be. Larry's loose lips are later revealed to be a ruse, when Dick Head gloats to the patrons that he and Larry had been colluding all along, tricking them into betting on a three-legged blind horse.

- Actor Chris Langham was found guilty in August 2007 of downloading and possessing indecent images of children. He was sentenced to ten months' imprisonment, of which six were served. He was required to sign the Sex Offenders' Register and was banned from working with children for ten years.
